Odds are that Pakistan will be as it has, unless a regime comes in that supports terrorism and houses Al Queda cells openly. Then, if we don't have weak-willed liberals in power, we'll probably come over and take apart the country.

You mean if America stops supporting Pakistan in their war against Al Qaeda?
Well America will take back the 3 Billion they gave Pakistan and the Pakistani economy will go right back to the stone age.
Once there is no food on the table the generals, mullahs and what you have can start diverting your attention from hunger by beating their chests and shouting Kashmir from the roof tops.
