I don't know how good it would be, he's definitely good with suspense. It would be asking if Adam Sandler could play Freddy Kruger... I guess he could do it, but would it be good ? Eh.. would he want to ?

He could incorporate high technology and a ghost story.

Lets say, a group of parapsychogy students devises a way to track, capture and imprison supernatural entities.

They invest millions of dollars in equipment, and eventually begin investigating paranormal occurrences.

Their equipment proves to work, and they capture and imprison numerous paranormal entities.

The government, headed by an overzealous EPA agent, intervenes and shuts down the containment device, freeing thousands of P.O.'d spectres and phantasms.

Wait... Its been done.

He would need help from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, or other funny people. It would be entertaining, funny, insightful, politically minded... THINK OF IT!
