When I try on dresses size 5 fits perfectly with one little flaw the waist never fits. I have a tiny waist and it always looks loose around my waist area where everywhere else is tight. What to do?

I have the same problem. If you don't want to alter every article of clothing (ick) then try on the next size down. If that doesn't work, there's always a cute top and skirt combo. Best option of all, however is to find a store which cuts its clothes the most flattering for your figure. I've found that the clothes at Express are usually cut pretty slim and fit well. The Limited is a sister store and Ny &Co sometimes has good stuff. Or you can go to Nordstroms which always seems to have a solution to every problem.

The best thing you can do is take a jean that fits perfectly everywhere else and take them to a seamstress. They can perform a very inexpensive and small alteration to make the waist fit however you'd like. Just a couple of dollars gets you a custom pair of pants.

Try finding clothes which have an elasticy waist or maybe a thick belt on a nice top or dress, even buying a thin belt might look nice. If this doesn't work maybe try clothes which draw attention away from your waist such as ruffles or pleats on the skirt, low neckline or a square one if your daring. Hope this helps =)

find a good tailor. No one piece of clothing or size is going to fit everybody perfectly. One thing I have learned from experience and from watching TLC what not to wear, everything can be changed. For me, I am short. No pants ever are the correct length for me. I am too tall for petite and too short for regular. If I constantly shopped for pants to fit me, I would never find them. So I get them to fit everywhere else and then have them hemmed to fit me.

You can do the same with any garment for any problem.

You just have to shop around stores, my waist is quite thin too. I find that most of the clothes at American Eagle Outfitters fit me for the most part... But either way, when my mom dries my clothes in the dryer, they shrink a bit and then the clothes fit perfectly.

youngster's sizes are available moth sizes by way of fact it is greater handy to discover the right length, by way of fact they strengthen so quickly. females's clothing is obtainable in the numbered sizes (a million,2,3...), i don't comprehend why. adult men's sizes are available inch sizes (30X32) meaning the waist length is 30" and the dimensions is 32". I choose they might do this with all grownup clothing it would make it plenty greater handy to save.

You may have to get alterations to get a good fit. That is not unusual. Many people have to have clothes shortened or taken in so they look good. Your only alternative would be elastic waistbands. Not cool at all.
