And if you do what are some suggestions to better it?

Yes, definitely! I'd wish the people would stop cutting down the trees and burning them down, any of us would know that it increases the amount of carbon dioxide on earth which causes global warming. The earth's health is ailing and we ought to do something.

Well, there are lots of things we could do to save the earth and i believe it won't be too late. Firstly, we can reduce the use of CFCs by purchasing CFC-free products (hair gel can replace aerosol hairsprays).

Second, we can reuse, reduce and recycle. For example, use recycled paper (it's worth it though more expensive) so less trees would be cut down. If everyone in the world used less paper, it would still make up the number of trees which were cut down.

Thirdly, we can lessen automobile use by taking public transport or walking instead of driving. That way less nitrous oxide and carbon monoxide will be emitted into the air. In the long run, the heat trapped would be reduced and global warming won't be so severe. I know it's ridiculous as most people in countries like the US can't survive without cars, but a little bit of walking will do us good.

There're more things which we can do, but i'll stop here as this answer will go on forever. Whatever you do, think of the earth and don't waste resources given to you (conserve electricity, so less fossil fuels will be burned).

Just a simple action from everyone could save the world! Be it any of the ways mentioned above, if you could think of ways to save paper and resources, just do it.

Yes I do wish that we look after this planet better because this is the only one that we have. When we go to the store and the clerk only puts one or two items in our plastic bags we can combine them together into one bag to save plastic. If we do not need a bag then do not get a bag. If you see trash on the ground, pick it up. Do not litter. I do not want to be picking up your trash all the time. It will help make your town look better.

Working one by one....face to face and realizing that listening is the BETTER PART OF CONVERSATION!!!!! This makes the ripple effect of my world go forward and sublime...it is the way that I help to if not change then influence which in its own way IS CHANGE...and it take but one man or woman to change the course of humankind....kindness is not just a virtue, but a necessity...and when one listens to another one tell their tales of sorrow or joy, we all become greater through osmosis......it is scientifically proven that *dig this*~ monkeys on two desert4ed islands were placed....monkeys on one island were TAUGHT to hunt for food in a particular way...through the theory of osmosis over a hundred miles away the untaught monkeys were then hunting in the same manner, therein the theory of osmosis again.....interesting huh? Nice to have friends who are Shrinks and Psychologists.....hence my reply is this, begin with one, and throughout the world others of the same mindset will pick up on it....I know that this works.....ever have the same dream as a friend in the same week or night? it works!! yes, i am one who believes that through my random acts of kindness and not looking for accolades, more people will catch on my not saying one single word. Cool or what?

A lot of the damage was done year and years ago...

now, at least it would help if USA and Australia signed the Kyoto Agreement. And pulled their fingers out of their arses. And if John Howard would grow some balls and George W would grow a brain.

I can dream can't I?

Definitly wish we looked after it better. The only way of saving it would have been to keep it nice from teh beginning of time-basically, I'm saying that we're pretty much screwed eventually.

Yes we needed to years ago, and we need to now! I agree with the suggestions listed by everyone above. We all need to do at least something, no matter how small it seems. We can make a difference!!

I do and I believe we should have never started driving gasoline powered cars!
It breaks my heart to know what will eventually happen to this planet.
But, I am not perfect.
