I am sure I will be reported, as many don't want to may people to agree on their worthlessness, and the damage they are doing toour country, after fighting for it for 26 years I feel I have a right to ask this question, and even if it is reported , I now know there are others who feel as I do ,and that is what counts, I left the Marine corps because it is time when a peon pvt, can tell a officer to kiss off and the officer won't do ay thing because of fear of being called racist,

part of that is the fact that they only accept the highest levels of students into their schools, they also only hire the best scientists, programmers and specialists to work in their country.
I agree that all people should be educated, but I also see reasons for the programs that are in place in other countries. if the student doesn't make the grade, then they go to trade scholl, and don't clutter up a class room where there are other people that are trying to learn and aren't getting enough time because the child that doesn't care about school takes up the teachers time.
the people that came to this country were not the problem, the problem came when we lowered the standard so that someone who couldn't make the grade got in. affermitive action, and various other programs, let in a lot of people who should never have had a colledge education. higher education is no longer higher, every tom dick and harry has a degree in something or another.
I'm not a racist, but it pisses me off when I go in for a job and lose it to someone who had less to give to the job, but the company was required to hire the other person because they were a minority. in my opinion, everyone is on the same footing at the start now, we all have the same chances, and if someone wants to do well, then they will , if not, they will play the race card and it will sometimes get them what they want with less work than some poor shmuck who put in the hours but happened to be born white.
equal rights isn't a bad thing, but you hit it on the head when you said priority. equal work , equal pay, and all that other stuff is good, but so many want the equal pay and half the work.
I think that we can fix this, but it is going to take a major wake up call for a lot of people . we need to start cleaning up our act as a country, get rid of these people that are empty faces in our leadership, and actually start to care about this country again. when the general public starts doing this, you can see a differance.

The only answer I can come up with at this instant is, IF the American corporations had not sold our technology positons to every single cheap overseas person who is willing to do it for .35 cents an hour, our technology advances would be way up. We are not a racist nation at all.

Personally, I agree with you on every single point you've mentioned. I just feel like I have my hands tied. Writing our senators is going to be a thing of the past. From what I understand from the new leglislation that was voted on by the senate when I watched Cspan last night, that there will be no lobbyist allowed at conventions, convention parties and that legitimate family oriented organizations are going to be barred. They will no long have the right to attend senate meetings with any knowledge that they would like to pass on to their members or the public. The new congress wants all organizations such as the American Family Association and the Family Research Council to back off and they will now have to let congress know, in advance, in writing their entire budget and they'll also have to pay for entry.

Since these organizations are surviving on donations only, they cannot afford to pay to get into the senate hearings and meetings. The new senate, however, excluded organizations like the ACLU who have the funds by huge corporate donations and special interest groups of 'other' and have paid employees on their payrolls, do NOT have to pay for these meetings and are welcome.

No, I'm sorry, but not everything is equal here...and the new congress is going to leave things out that the public will not know about until after it's signed into the books. Sooo sad.

I think you are going to end up getting reported for this question. Because if you even mention anything about race, they all flock to the report abuse button, But I have agree with you. I think that if we didn't allow a lot of things to go on in our country, and didn't let students into college, or jobs based on color or ethnicity, we may have a better shot at being taken more seriously. I don't people take us seriously anymore. They take our military seriously, but the fact that you can join our military without being a citizen may make us look pretty foolish in the long run too. I think people focus too much on feeling like they were denied a job, or an opportunity, because of their skin color, when in all reality it's because of there education level, skill level, or appearance. The public doesn't want to walk into a bank where there is a person with gold teeth sitting behind the counter with an enormous platinum dollar bill sign around their neck. Nor do they want someone that is missing teeth, and a beat up flannel. Seriously in this day and age, appearance, and education matter above everything else.

America has become far more irrationally concerned with World Opinion than the World has regarding our opinion of them...And we've paid dearly for it.
