Get all the parts together and build it yourself this way you can get into building computers as well another load of information about computers that is needed if you ever have a friend that needs help to build a computer.
Building your own computer is very easy and simple to do. If your unsure on someone and know someone that can help you out then get in contact with them and get them to come around and help you out.
The things you would be looking for in building a computer are
1. Computer Case (With Power Supply or Without)
2. Motherboard
3. CPU
4. Ram
5. HDD (Or HDD's)
6. Graphics Card (Can get up to 2 in one system SLI)
7. DVD-RW or CD-RW (or 2 if you like)
8. Monitor (LCD's are the best)
9. Keyboard
10. Mouse
Now when it all comes down to it building your own computer you know exactly what parts you are getting and know how much everything costs in case you want to get another of that part.
Try out http://www.newegg.com and a few other online stores that sell computer parts and go from there :)
Now the problem with Pre-Built parts is that you don't know what parts are available what parts can and can't be upgraded etc so me personally every computer i have had since 1990's has been hand built by others and the last 6 computers i have built personally.
