Defintaley. I love real mashed potatoes but instant ones smell gross and taste nasty and I hate them

Ten times out ten, in my book there's no comparison. I always ask in a restaurant if they're serving real mashed potatoes, if they aren't, I'll order something else.

Definately...they taste differently and they smell different too. they even feel weird.
I prefer to buy those "real" mashpotatoes if i don't want to make them myself.
