I've done a little thinking about this one. I'm actually surprised to see this question on the boards. It is interesting as you say, that NE won that super bowl, and that all the sudden new orleans is really good. However, the NFL isn't the WWE. (Or the XFL).There is no way to script what has happened in the NFL this year. When Dallas lost to Washington, you couldn't script the final play. When Tampa won with that long field goal, you couldn't script a kick that far. So, I don't see how they would be able to rig a sport this intense. It's weird the way things turn out though.

I think there may be a conspiracy. The owner of the Saints, could have paid the NFL a huge lump sum of cash to get all the ref's on thier side.
But Aaron Brooks is not a good QB. Never was and never will. Drew Brees is just a bad *** QB with a great supporting cast. The veterians Horn, and Deuce, and the explosive Bush and Colston. Combine that with the excellent coaching skill of Sean Payton, you can be looking at the SuperBowl 41 champs.

I'm from new orleans and the saints are going all the way because of there tallent not because of conspiracy theory. The saints have really come together this season and supprised a lot of people but that dosen't mean that there is a conspiracy theory. They also have good loyal fans that stay the whole game win or lose and will support there team all the way unlike some other teams. **cough cowboys** it not that i don't like the cowboy because i live in dallas now its jsut that there fans leave before the game is over even when there wining and the team reflects alot about the city and the saints have really pulled it together and so has the city of new orleans. but please believe me when i say there is no conspiracy theory CAUSE THERE ISN'T ONE!!!

The whole concept of having a physical "asterisk" on any kind of of victory or record is silly, because now everyone has been judged in the court of public opinion so there isn't anyway that we can hammer that out of anybody's head. The only "asterisk" anywhere is what people really think of a certain thing like that. What's in the record books doesn't matter at all.

If they were going to let a team win over 9/11, wouldn't it be a NY team? On the other hand look how far the bears have gotten, pretty fishy.

Yes there is a strong possibility of a conspiracy. The bookies already know it.

To all conspiracy theorists: if you WANT there to be a conspiracy theory, there will be one. On the other hand, if you THINK a little, you will find that there isn't one.
