Depends on the favor. But most of the time I would. If it is a friend I say yes before I know what the favor is.

Depends on the favor. For example, 1) to lend them money- No. 2) to help them lift something-yes.

I have had random strangers do incredibly nice things for me, so I like to think I would reasonably often volunteer a favor when I have time and see a need for it.

It would all depend on the favor. Do you feel you could ever become good friends with that person or ever trust them.

I took care of one of my daughter's class mates when asked. I never met the child or the parent before. the mother said she asked me because her daughter spoke so highly of my child and, thought she would be comfortable at my house. She was. The mom offered to pay me but of course I refused the money, the kids and I had fun that day.

Yes, I would:
-Help them across the street
-Carry a package for them
-Give them spare change, if I had any
-Buy them a meal, if I could
-Let them make a call on my phone
-Give them directions
That type of thing would be no problem.

I would not invite a stranger into my home, into my car, give him/her any personal information, and that type of thing.

Things like telling someone what time it is; sure do it for nearly anyone in a safe environment. Beyond that, probably not.

Depends what they want me to do. If it is within my power to help then I will do it. I won't do anything crazy like get credit for them, but i would help in any other way I could.
