No, it would mean that the government would have to admit they were wrong in their handling of the whole situation. It would not be politically correct, and they would lose any future revenue from all the prisons that were built, and there would less convicts to fill them up. Medicine companies also would no longer get their piece of the pie, because there will not be enough court-ordered rehab patients. Most of all, the government hates people who makes choices for themselves as to what they put in their own bodies for whatever reason.

No, for the simple fact that there will always be more people to knock down the bill than will vote for it. Unfortunately, the argument that Marijuana use leads to other drug use, is valid. People are just trying to protect our children when they vote against it. As it stands now, kids as young as nine have gotten their hands on some pot, though, it's illegal. Imagine how much worse it would be if they could just grab it from where ever.

yes they will weed like cocain were only baned because of racial reasons weed was made illegal in order to find a reason to deport mexicans and with the new medical uses they have and little side effects it isvery possible
