i just got my nipples peirced this monday, i went to a repuatble place, and watched the guy use a brand new sealed needle. i take care of them as i was told to and they look fine, they aren't swollen or red at all, but for the first time all year, i got a soar throught and a runny nose, could this be related to my new peircing. it is like the first day of snow all year, today, it could just be the change in weather. any advice would be great!

Your sore throat and runny nose are not related to your nipple piercing unless you caught the cold from the person doing your nipple piercing. Otherwise it is just coincidence. The weather does not cause colds either, however, during colder weather, people tend to congregate indoors and thus concentrating the germs, making it more likely for you to be infected.

Its not because of your peircing.

but take care of your infection anyway.
