No no, Wal-Mart is a community minded company that employs many people and has great benefits. It's not perfect, but do you know of a workplace that's perfect?

Yes Wal-Mart is going corrupt and ruining American. I for one do not like Wal Mart at all. I have shopped there and then shopped some where else and have found several of the items that i bought cheaper at the other store. So i for one will do the least amount if any shopping at Wal Mart. So don't expect me to be in Wal Mart again. By the way i am see there prices raise and not lower. They have also poor customer service and i have heard many complaints about them. So my advise is not to shop there ever again.

One simple example.

A woman works 35 years as a cashier at a "local" grocery store. After 35 years, she makes maybe 35 cents more than minimum wage, her health insurance rose in cost until she couldn't afford it and she dropped it ten years ago, and she has no retirement plan of any kind. At 75 years old, she is looking at having to work until the day she dies.

Another woman puts 35 years of service in at her local WalMart. She has earned numerous pay raises, and makes substantially more per hourthan the first lady. She has been eligible for, and accepted promotions that give her more money and more responsibility. She has had affordable health insurance from her 91st day of employment onward. She put $10 to $20 every paycheck into Walmart's stock purchase plan, and now has $500,000.00 in hard assets she can cash in and retire on comfortably.

Which woman works for an "evil" company?

WalMart has revolutionized something called "value chain management", and there are a lot of people who are pissed off because they can no longer compete.

Stop you're whining. It's called a "free market" for a reason.

Much of the propaganda you hear about WalMart is generated by unions who have been pressuring them to unionize for a long time. If you believe it without further research or at least hearing other points of view, you deserve your ignorance.

NO , the politicians & lobbyists are ruining our country .. The Republicans don't believe in minimum-wage hikes for the working class , and the lobbyists are calling the shots as far as any '' business vs. labor " issues are concerned
