I have not had an alcoholic drink in several years (personal choice) but when I did I drank for the flavor of the drink.
I loved
Amaretto Sours
Toasted Almonds
Margarettas
tangeray and tonic
That's about all I can remember.
Now a mixed drink is homemade Sweet Tea and Lemon,
Coca-cola and cherry juice that I add, or Vanilla syrup I add. woohoo living it up!!!!

Yes! I use to be a bartender...and have given up the drink....over 25 years ago....save an occasional imported beer at gatherings...makes my head flat like catnip...i love the way I think and liquor speeds up my heart rate...but there is nothing like a Daquiri smoothie big time!!!!!!!!
Hence my reply is YES!!!!! And from what I have learned you can make a Long Island Ice Tea and trick someone into thinking they are drunk...it is funny!!!!! Then they get silly waiting for it to hit and the REAL them comes out ala natural!!!!! *wink*
