Please do not compare women and children to this case ....Because I was a victim as a child So I understand.
My opinion is that .........this is worse than anything we do to eachother.It is scary that this savage could have the mind-set to do this.There is no hope for the peice of crap and is a lost soul and should be shot Dead on the Spot.
Animal/pets are the most innocent and helpless on this earth.
Yes babies are innocent but we eventually grow up to be Humans and we all know humans ......CAN BE SO CRUEL
But animals/pets are born innocent and stay innocent.......and anyone who hurts helpless animals is the very worst of society .....PERIOD

I agree, that is one of the very worst crimes and I think the guy who hurt that poor little puppy should be put to death, no question. That has to be the sickest and saddest news story I've read about in a long time. I truly hope the puppy recovers one day. :-(
And anyone who says animals have no self-awareness obviously has never had pets and/or must think of animals as nothing more then objects. And it is exactly that kind of thinking that leads sickos to hurt animals.

Animals do not have self-awareness...they are nowhere near comparable to humans. You are projecting human emotions onto something that does not have the ability to return the favor.
Yes, it was a sick and twisted thing to do. A fine and a year in jail is enough.
Your recommendation of the death penalty makes you more sick and twisted of a savage then the perpetrator in this story. You have more concern for a dog than the (treatable) mental health of a human being.
Clearly, you have issues.

Okay.....I'm evil but this is a line even I wouldn't cross. IF they find the guy I have a few ideas about what to do to him.
