Time just distracts, somethings in life never fully heal. Life and time still goes on and we have moments that distract us from pain.

In my experience, the passage of time can and does lessen the severity of the emotional pain and suffering you experience. But I honestly believe that some wounds never heal completely. What you're left with is scar tissue: the person had a hurtful effect on your life, and on your psyche, that you never fully recover from.
And as far as death of a close family member goes, I don't believe that time heals that wound, depending on how close you were to them. The pain will lessen in severity, but morph into something that is painful in a different way. A deeper pain that becomes a part of you, and that you endure, and that lives on in your heart.

There's a saying that goes..."Time heals all wounds." I do believe it does, because so many of us forget what happened only a few days ago. And that is the beauty of being able to move on in life and not look back.

It depends how deep the wound is. Time may make it easier to cope with the hurt, but heal? I am not so sure. It may just distract. Now if the wound is not very deep, then "time" does heal, thanks to our owned flawed memories.....

It distracts us long enough before we find something bigger and better and that is what heals.

My daughter took my granddaughter and moved away several months ago. They both lived with me from the time they were born. Everyone keeps telling me it will get easier as time passes, but I find myself getting more sad and depressed every single day from missing them so much. So, no, I don't think time heals.

Some things never heal.

put it this way ... healing will always take some amount of time and 'no time' does NOT heal so all healing does take time

.... so TIME HEALS is correct... HOWEVER

... time heals ALL wounds would be a misnomer because healing does not always take place

IT IS MY EXPERIENCE THAT MOST ALL WOUNDS DO HEAL IN TIME
