Probability of getting 2 heads and 1 tail with 3 coin tosses:
(3)*(1/2)^2*(1/2) = 3*(1/8) = 3/8
(2)
Probability of getting a 5 on a dice = 1/6
Probability of both events since they are independent:
(3/8) * (1/6) = 3/48

ok... the first coin toss is either head or tail... so you really only care about the next 2 ... 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4... then multiply by the chances of getting a 5 which is 1/6... 1/4 * 1/6 = 1/24... so the chances are 1 in 24.

the ans is 1/48.
to get a tail/head the probability is 1/2 and to get 5 on a dice is 1/6.
you have to multiply 1/2(head)*1/2(head)*1/2(tail)*1/6(5 on dice)
you'll get 1/48.

Homework is a discomfort in the ***, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is properly worth it and the consequences of no longer doing it are low grades, low self-worth, hating college, indignant mom and father, and awkwardness round instructors. the perfect portion of do is do only the homework. do not attempt to imagine, "I shouldn't..." or doubt your self - do only it! you need to be sensible about it, do the homework it truly is maximum major first, go away the little issues for very last, take time-honored breaks, no eating even as operating because it truly is distracting, NO television till you're thoroughly executed.
