My husband used to be a tradesman who took pride in his work so duct tape is absolutely banned from our home.

well not actually duct tape.. i've used scotch tape instead of plaster to close a cut on my finger...

once i was bored and i saw duct tape so i just decided to completely
wrap my self in it. BTW duct tape hurts....owchie...

I made a gasket for a water pump once. It was supposed to be temporary but lasted over a year.
I have rolled it up to make an "O" ring....that took several attempts to get it just right.
