i think growing your own is soo much better then fake.. because keeping fake nails for a while shrivels up your nail beds and pretty much ruins them! SOO nasty

I grow my own; on school days i keep them short but during the vacation i grow then long and paint them. Would add a bit of colour and stylish designs on them. It's more unique than letting others paint your nails, don't you think?

I grow my own and then after it gets to a nice length I go to the nail salon and get french tips. Fake nails damage your nails.

I grow my own. I keep them really short...long nails are fine on other people (I love all the cute things you can do between polish, styles, and little glued on things), but it just doesn't look good on me. Once in a blue moon I paint my nails.

If I could grow my own I would but I cant so I have them done. My real nails are like paper it stinks!

Well if you grow them you might get a cut but if you get your nails done they would look cute
