Write from experiences or observations, first start with your life maybe love, pain, fear, those things then go observe the things around you that you can draw inspiration from.

you can write a song about anything. the best ones (in my opinion) are ones that are about feelings rather than getting laid...
i suggest something or someone that you really love deeply. that is usually where one feels the most passionate, and where they usually have the most to say in a deep way.
writing songs is pretty much a form of poetry, so i suggest reading some poetry. it is like putting a beat to poetry. learning about different types of rhyming endings, etc will help you learn how to make them flow better... and give variation to your songs.

Write about things that make you angry or things that you love...your passionate feelings for both of these will make the song really emotional.
