You're in a group of survivors who survived zombie virus outbreak,would a Howlwitzer which is a piece of artilerry from the 1st world war with 72 shells and a Panzer VI from 1943,would these weapons work in a zombie attack?

Not necessarily. You could use the artillery to close off certain key points where zombies travel such as bridges or other passes, but against the undead they would certainly not be as good as having several snipers with plenty of ammunition. Of course getting around inside a Panzer would be a good way of getting around, all the abandoned vehicles covering the roadways and the waves of undead would make it ideal for running the stuff over as long as the driver is not overly confident about not being rolled over.

They would if you modify their artillery to fit a flame thrower instead. If not, then no. Cause zombies regenerate loss body parts, so you have to burn everything.

Well, I would suppose blowing them to bits would have the same effect as shooting them in the head, and that always seems to work........
