Also, the online play is free in the demo, but is it free in the real game?

most likely...that is if you have the memory to store the whole game in your hard drive

Demo is just demo. It does'nt install the full plug-ins fo the game right? so better check the system requirements of the game before installing to your computer. But It will run. but not as good. I installed warcraft on my computer which has a not so good video card. Its soooooo slow.

If you ran the Demo you should be able to handle the whole game, Blizzard intentionally makes their gmaes a bit "lowend" for lack of a better term to allow for more people to play their games. As long as you are running WIndows 98 or above you should be fine

they still have a wc3 demo floating around after all these years? i still play but .. its been so long since it came out. it requires such old specs on the computer. if u can play the demo.... then.. probably.......
