I read that Manu Ginobili is actually white and he is of Italian decent is that true. I personally think he is a overrated player. It was great to see USA beat Argentina in the world championships as USA took home the 1st place championship. Gilbert Arenas is the best hispanic basketball player of all time then it is Carmelo Anthony then maybe Manu Ginobili. USA did not send its best players to the world championships so maybe they will send a better team next time.

FIrst of all, USA did not beat Argentina.
Argentina has beat the USA the past 2 times at the World Championship and the Olympics.
And of course he's white. And yes, Ginobili is an Italian last name.
Almost all of Argentina's population is white. Much higher percentage than the US.
Nocioni, who plays for the bulls, is also a white Argentinean(he's blonde too). And so is Oberto(Spurs), Delfino(Pistons), and Herrmann(Bobcats)(also blonde)
All of these players have Italian last name except for Herrmann who has a German last name.
I hope this clears things up for everyone.

Hey! I am Argentinian And I can tell you that more than 90% of Arg. People are white, I´m white, and so much of them (I´ve got) have Italian, Spanish, French, German and still British descent, is wrong that people say "Latin people have dark skin", because majority of us have European descent.
Good Luck!

I'll suppose you're not serious. If you're not blind you know the answer to your question.
And Ginobili is not the only Latin American that "looks (?) white".

MY FATHER WAS ITALIAN, HE WAS BLONDE WITH GREEN EYES AND WHEN SUNBATHING WOULD BURN RIGHT AWAY, IF YOU BY "WHITE" MEAN BORN IN THE US..NO, HE WAS NOT BORN IN THE US....AND I THINK WETHER YOU THINK HE IS OVERRATED OR NOT..YOU ARE NOT PAYING HIM...
