You could say, although they are not the same band that they were when they came onto the music seen. In fact, they are better now. (with the exception of the last album)

one could only hope that "grunge rock" has gone the way of curt nobrain, a fad,
burnt out, now if only it would fade away. in my opinion, the best thing to come outta the seattle grunge movement was Stone Temple Pilots, and i didn't and don't consider them as grunge.

what i found funny here in detroit was when eddy and pearl jam came to town, a local radio station gave away tickets only if you could properly translate the words to a pearl jam song. there weren't that many ticket winners

Mudhoney's still together. "In March of 2006, the band released the well received LP, Under a Billion Suns."

pretty much...i mean there is still mudhoney, but do you ever hear from them? no.
its too bad. i wish grunge wasnt over like it is. but pearl jam still is rocking so i wouldnt worry about grunge being gone forever yet...

if they are not the last, they are certainly the best among the remaining grunge bands. vetter isn't cobain or staley, but he's great. saw them in june...awesome show!!!

eddie would cringe if he heard you say that. theyre just the last of the good bands in my book.

Pretty much!! There the only one I know still touring, and bringing out albums.... there the best one anyway :-)
