I've only heard/seen this song once before...
it was on a Shari Lewis (Lambchop) video I bought for my daughter years ago.
Shari and Lambchop do a great rendition of this song!

Have you heard the new version? Joe lost his job when the factory shut down because it's cheaper to make buttons overseas (thank you, Wal-Mart). Now he's an incarcerated alcoholic.

No, that is an awesome song! When I was a counselor at camp, we taught all our kids that. They loved it. We had a couple different words, but still a great ditty. Thanks for the reminder - I'll probably wake up singing it tomorrow. (oh well....)

I do. The kids at my school sing it every morning. It goes,
