Because when Rosa Parks refused to move to the back of the bus, it started a mass boycott of public transporation. And it really hurt the economy. And it pretty much triggered the Civil Rights Movement.

Rosa Parks sast in the front and refused to go the back? That is a boycott. It was revolutionary because she was one of the first if not the first black person to stand up to a white person and not get walked on... It started this all people are created equal blah blah blah... chain reaction... desegregation in schools first school central high school in little rock arkansas... good luck.

First time a proper, upstanding person of color stood up for their rights, and said I want my rights looked at by all, before we move on. It was the start towards equal rights.
For things like this, or anything to do with school FreeSchoolHelp.com , has lots of answers for things like this in its free dictionarys, and other areas, and in its information look up areas. I use it all the time.
