what do i do for this problem?

area of a circle with a RADIUS of 5 inches. we are using pi not anything else. please help!!

Area of a circle is pi times radius squared.
Area of your circle is pi times 5 squared.
You'd write it 25pi. I don't know how to make the pi symbol on this keyboard, but you get the idea.

Area of a circle = pi * radius^2
= pi 5^2
=25pi = 78.57

A=pi*r^2
=pi*5^2
=pi*25
=3.14*25
=78.5 in^2

the area of a circle is pi times the radius squared... so for your problem it would be

3.14 X (5X5)
3.14 X 25
so it would be 78.5
