I'm 14 and i haven't had my period yet! is that normal? i'm getting kinda worried, do you think there is something wrong with me?

I know it can be so hard to be the last one of your friends to get your period. I was one of those. Are you developing normally in other ways-getting breasts, pubic hair? If so, I would not worry yet. However, if these are not happening for you, you may want to have your parents make an appointment with your doctor to get some tests. Good luck!

Relax. There is nothing wrong with you. Some girls don't get their period until age 16!!!
Don't be in such a hurry. And as a quote (not exact, but from what I remember from the movie Erin Brockovich) "You're still a woman, you just don't have to worry about underwire and maxi pads".

You are very normal. Years ago girls did not start their menstrals until about your age. The reason that has changed is because of all of the added chemicals we put into our bodies now. Farmers put steroids in their animals to make them bigger so that they can sell them faster. We in turn eat that and the result is children developing earlier. If anything you are healthier than the 9 year olds that start their period. You are fine. Once you get it, you will not want it. Be patient, It will come.

There is no problem. I haven't had mine yet, but my mom had it when she was 15, 5 of my friend's moms had it when they were 16 or 17, so you have nothing to worry about. It's normal.

Periods can fluctuate for each girl. don't be worried. i don't even think i received my first period til i was about 15 i think. it also depends on heredity and genetics. and in my case since i am a twin, my younger twin got hers a year before me. so their are a lot of factors aside from that that could explain why you haven't received your period. stay positive..you'll catch up with all the other girls soon enough!

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure I didn't have mine until I was 15 and I have heard about people not getting them until they were 18. It's normal.

as a guy it's been my experiance that the girls who started menstruating later are usually of the more attractive type. I dated a girl in high school who was 5'10" and a knockout and she didn't start till she was 16. It's generally the ugg ugg heffers who start menstruating at 9 years old....

It's normal. Every women is different, and there are a variety of ages that women start. My friend started in 4th grade. I started at 12, and I know people who didn't start until they were 16.

no theres nothing wrong with you dont worry about, ive know people who got it at 9 and people who got it at 18, they say that some people are more athletic it will come later, dont worry you still have plantly of time.

I would discuss this with your mom and/or doctor. But I've heard of girls not starting until they were 15 or 16.
