Kingston or Corsair is the best memory you can buy.

Are talking about your phone's internal memory? If so then there is nothing you can do. If you're talking about an SD card then you can put it into an SD card reader ($15) and run your computer's disk check utility.

The only way to guarantee that your phone's memory card never gets corrupted is to never use a memory card in your phone. All media formats bear a certain risk of data corruption through one means or another. The best you can do is to use a trusted brand and make sure you back your data up to a computer on a regular basis or after any changes have been made. As for brand, I'd trust SanDisk or Kingston before any others.
