I am using Adobe Illustrator CS, and I am trying to set the resolution on a new document? All new documents seem to be "stuck" on 72 dpi. I'd like to create some new docs in 300 dpi. I am fairly proficient in Adobe Photoshop CS, but cannot find a similar method of specifying the resolution in Illustrator. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Jayne; Thank you for your answer, but HOW do I change the resolution? What do I click on?

Illustrator is a vector program you can stretch the image to endless without it getting blurry. If you save the file as a PDf then you can choose the resolution in the PDF saving choices.

Nope. Illustrator is a vector image editor, Photoshop is a raster image editor. Which one you use depends on what you are doing. Illustrator is great for logos and things like that, while Photoshop works best on (get this..) photos and things like that. There is a ton of info on the two all over the net if you need to know more..
