Hey, I am engaged to this guy. I am presently in university and as a result im on the pill for now. To make the story short, my period is late even when taking all my pills. Am i pregnant> Or is it the stress from university? Should i continue to take my next months pills?

Hell Yes you could still be pregnant. The pill is only 99% accurate when taken correctly (that means taking it every day - at the same time) -
Stress can affect your period too . . .
my suggestion would be to take a test ( a 1st Response or some type of early detection test) _ if it's for sure negative - go ahead and start your next months pills. .
I've gone a few months without being pregnant or a period to show for it.

Get a EPT test and have you had any symptoms of being pregnant. My daughter was on the pill and definetely got pregnant. She missed a period and guess what-8 months later she delivered the joy of my life my first grandchild. She now had 3 but the 1st is special in a certain way.

Yes you could be pregnant as no contraceptive is 100% safe, or if you have only just started the pill, it could be messing your cycle up a little bit. You mentioned you think it could have somthing to do with uni, and the stress that comes with it, that could also be a cause. My best advuce for you would to go see your doctor, or uni nurse (if have one), as they will be able to help you more than anything.

your period can be late due to stress with your period and with school. continue to take your pills at same time everyday but get a pregnancy test just to make sure. good luck :)

taking the pill late or forgetting one night happens.
Also, some other medicines interfere, antibiotics especially.
You're probably pregnant. Go get tested.
There are universities you can finish your degree online, I suggest looking into them.

yes u can be pregnant no matter what birth control you take. if ur taking the pill and you believe you are you need to get checked soon as possible cause it can cause a miscarriage

It could be either...But yes you can get preg through the pill. My first pregnancy was through the pill.

The pill can mess with your cycle. Plus, it is 98% effective. So....
