"what would you say, if we lived on tv?" Apparitions by Matthew Good Band (1997). I think it's a pretty open-ended but deep question. Pretty cool tune, too.

Everything from "Simple and Clean" by Utada Hikaru
i love the lyrics, and the whole song in general

"Your system overloads again" from "Rush" - Aly & AJ
it's not talking about a computer or something, it's talking about yourself and how things can become too much (i think)

"Your life hangs out in the shadows of the wall" from "No One"
- Aly & AJ
... just like it (for some reason)

Everything from "Keep Holding On" - Avril Lavigne
just like it

"Can you feel it building,
Like a wave the ocean just can't control?" from "Breaking Free
- High School Musical
it just sounds cool

P.S. i usually start liking a song by the way it sounds. After that i try to memorize all the lyrics.

"The truth is you could slit my throat, and with my one last gasping breath I'd apoligize for bleading on your shirt!"

"You are so last summer
-Taking Back Sunday"
I just think that its funny, and i dont know i lovee the way adam sings. Pretty much anything they sing would be my favorite, really really hard to just choose one particular line. That was just the one that was stuck in my head!

I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse
- "You Can't Always Get What You Want"
- The Rolling Stones

I think it's very sarcastic and funny.

Girls not Grey (By AFI)

I lay me down tonight, much further down. Swim in the calm tonight, this art does drown. What follows? Me as the whitest of lace of light? What follows? Just begs to be imbrued. What follows? Has led me to this place where I belong, with all erased. What follows? All insects sing tonight, the coldest sound. I'd send gods grace tonight, could it be found. What follows? Me as the whitest of lace of light? What follows? Just begs to be imbrued. What follows? Has led me to this place where I belong, with all erased. I lay me down tonight. Much further down, watch stars go out tonight. On sinking ground, I lay me down. What follows? Me as the whitest of lace of light. What follows? Just begs to be imbrued. What follows? Has led to me to this place where I belong, with all erased. What follows? What follows? What follows? What follows?

I like this song because it's one of those songs by AFI you can listen to over and over and never get tired of it.

i love this song

its by hellogoodbye "here in your arms"

here the part i like best

Where you are the one, the one that lies close to me.
Whispers "Hello, I've missed you quite terribly."
I fell in love, in love with you suddenly.
That there's no place else I could be but here in your arms.

Nas -- One Mic

Yo, all i need is one mic, one beat, one stage
One n***a front, my face on the front page
Only if i had one gun, one girl and one crib
One god to show me how to do things his son did
Pure, like a cup of virgin blood; mixed with
151, one sip'll make a n***a flip
Writin names on my hollow tips, plottin ****
Mad violence who i'm gon' body, this hood politics
Ackowledge it, leave bodies chopped in garbages
Seeds watch us, grow up and try to follow us
Police watch us {*siren*} roll up and try knockin us
One knee i ducked, could it be my time is up
But my luck, i got up, the cop shot again
Bus stop glass bursts, a fiend drops his heineken
Richochetin between the spots that i'm hidin in
Blackin out as i shoot back, f*** gettin hit! [more sirens]
This is my hood i'ma rep, to the death of it
'til everybody come home, little ****** is grown
Hoodrats, don't abortion your womb, we need more warriors soon
Sip from the star sun and the moon
In this life of police chases street sweepers and coppers
Stick-up kids with no conscience, leavin victims with doctors
If you really think you ready to die, with nines out
This is what nas is bout, n***a the time is now!

[whispering again]
Yo, all i need is one mic..
All i need is one mic.. that's all i need
All i need is one mic.. all i need n***az
All i need is one mic.. yeah

[gradually getting louder]
All i need is one blunt, one page, and one pen
One prayer - tell god forgive for one sin
Matter fact maybe more than one, look back
At all the hatred against me, **** alla them
Jesus died at age 33, there's thirty-three shots
From twin glocks there's sixteen apiece, that's thirty-two
Which means, one of my guns was holdin 17
Twenty-seven hit your crew, six went into you
Everybody gotta die sometime; hope your funeral
Never gets shot up, bullets tear through the innocent
Nothin is fair, n***az roll up, shootin from wheelchairs
My heart is racin, tastin revenge in the air
I let the s**t slide for too many years, too many times
Now i'm strapped with a couple of macs, too many nines
If y'all n***az really wit me get busy load up the semis
Do more than just hold it explode the clip until you empty
There's nothin in our way - they bust, we bust, they rust, we rust
Led flyin, feel it? i feel it in my gut
That we take these b*****s to war, lie 'em down
Cause we stronger now my n***a the time is now!!

[whispering again]
All i need is one mic.. that's all i need, that's all i need
All i need is one mic.. there's nuttin else in the world
All i need is one mic.. that's all a n***a need to do his thing y'know
All i need is one mic..

[starting loud this time, getting quieter]
All i need is one life, one try, one breath i'm one man
What i stand for speaks for itself, they don't understand
Or wanna see me on top, too egotistical
Talkin all that slick ****, the same way these bitches do
Wonder what my secrets is, n***az'll move on you
Only if they know, what your weakness is i have none
Too late to grab guns i'm blastin cause i'm a cool n***a
Thought i wouldn't have that *** done? fooled you n***az
What you call a infinite brawl, eternal souls clashin
War gets deep, some beef is everlastin
Complete with thick scars, brothers knifin each other
Up in prison yards, drama, where does it start?
You know the block was ill as a youngster
Every night it was like a, cop would get killed body found in the dumpster
For real a hustler, purchased my range, n***az throwin dirt on my name
Jealous cause fiends got they work and complain
Bitches left me cause they thought i was finished
Shoulda knew she wasn't true she came to me when her man caught a sentence
Diamonds are blindin, i never make the same mistakes
Movin with a change of pace, lighter load, see now the king is straight
Swellin my melon cause none of these n***az real
Heard he was, tellin police, how can a kingpin squeal?
This is crazy, i'm on the right track i'm finally found
You need some soul searchin, the time is now

All i need is one mic.. yeah, yeah yeah yeah
All i need is one mic.. that's all i ever needed in this world, f*** cash
All i need is one mic.. f*** the cars, the jewelry
All i need is one mic.. to spread my voice to the whole world

Sorry about the profanity...but it's a great song You should listen to it sometime if you haven't already

Tupac-Keep Ya Head Up

Verse One:

Some say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice
I say the darker the flesh then the deeper the roots
I give a holler to my sisters on welfare
Tupac cares, if don't nobody else care
And uhh, I know they like to beat ya down a lot
When you come around the block brothas clown a lot
But please don't cry, dry your eyes, never let up
Forgive but don't forget, girl keep your head up
And when he tells you you ain't nuttin don't believe him
And if he can't learn to love you you should leave him
Cause sista you don't need him
And I ain't tryin to cash up, I just call em how I see em
You know it makes me unhappy (what's that)
When brothas make babies, and leave a young mother to be unhappy
And since we all came from a woman
Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman
I wonder why we take from our women
Why we rape our women, do we hate our women?
I think it's time to kill for our women
Time to heal our women, be real to our women
And if we don't we'll have a race of babies
That will hate the ladies, that make the babies
And since a man can't make one
He has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one
So will the real men get up
I know you're fed up ladies, but keep your head up

Chorus

Eeewww child things are gonna get easier
Eeewww child things are gonna get brighter

Eeewww child things are gonna get easier
Eeewww child things are gonna get brighter

Verse Two:

Aiyyo, I remember Marvin Gaye, used to sing ta me
He had me feelin like black was tha thing to be
And suddenly tha ghetto didn't seem so tough
And though we had it rough, we always had enough
I huffed and puffed about my curfew and broke the rules
Ran with the local crew, and had a smoke or two
And I realize momma really paid the price
She nearly gave her life, to raise me right
And all I had ta give her was my pipe dream
Of how I'd rock the mic, and make it to tha bright screen
I'm tryin to make a dollar out of fifteen cents
It's hard to be legit and still pay tha rent
And in the end it seems I'm headin for tha pen
I try and find my friends, but they're blowin in the wind
Last night my buddy lost his whole family
It's gonna take the man in me to conquer this insanity
It seems tha rain'll never let up
I try to keep my head up, and still keep from gettin wet up
You know it's funny when it rains it pours
They got money for wars, but can't feed the poor
Say there ain't no hope for the youth and the truth is
it ain't no hope for tha future
And then they wonder why we crazy
I blame my mother, for turning my brother into a crack baby
We ain't meant to survive, cause it's a setup
And even though you're fed up
Huh, ya got to keep your head up

Chorus

Verse Three:

And uhh
To all the ladies havin babies on they own
I know it's kinda rough and you're feelin all alone
Daddy's long gone and he left you by ya lonesome
Thank the Lord for my kids, even if nobody else want em
Cause I think we can make it, in fact, I'm sure
And if you fall, stand tall and comeback for more
Cause ain't nuttin worse than when your son
wants to kno why his daddy don't love him no mo'
You can't complain you was dealt this
hell of a hand without a man, feelin helpless
Because there's too many things for you to deal with
Dying inside, but outside you're looking fearless
While tears, is rollin down your cheeks
Ya steady hopin things don't all down this week
Cause if it did, you couldn't take it, and don't blame me
I was given this world I didn't make it
And now my son's getten older and older and cold
From havin the world on his shoulders
While the rich kids is drivin Benz
I'm still tryin to hold on to survivin friends
And it's crazy, it seems it'll never let up, but
please... you got to keep your head up

"They say people in your life are seasons" - Heard 'Em Say by Kanye West.

This just makes me think about all the different people I've met that I haven't talked to or seen in a while. I dunno I like it.
