If thing does not have to be an organism, then the strongest "thing" anywhere, including here on Earth--or more precisely in parts of it--is the Strong nuclear force. It's about a million million [insert several more "million"s here] times stronger than gravity which is the weakest of the four forces of nature.
The fastest "thing" anywhere, again including here, is a quanta of electromagnetic radiation, more commonly referred to as a photon of light.
