my dad caught me smoking pot and tried to hit me so I punched him in his nose and he started bleeding. He kick me out of the house. I have no where to go... my dad said i could come back if I apologized and stop smoking. I'll apologize, but I wont stop smoking I loves my pot. What should I do?

Sweetie, you need a program, pot is not more important than family and you know it. Your Dad is allowing you to return home. Many fathers would not. It is his house, his rules. Use your brain--when you're not high. Surely being high but living on the streets is not the answer. Apologize and go home, ask your Dad to help you find a program so that you can quit.

parents know whats best for you,
you have taken the wrong path, and you will soon realize that, you need to come to your senses and realize, that your parents will ALWAYS be there for you, and that they only want whats best for you.
Sure he should have tried to hit you, but you have to understand finding out that a child is doing something they shouldnt really can kick a nerve. Im barely 18, and I have seen how people i know have gone down with drugs, you need to stop smoking, it doesnt bring you anything good.
Your family loves you,
your family will be there through the good and the bad,
i wonder where you "friends" are
why dont you try to crash with them?
sooner or later, they will end up kicking you out too, and then you will realize who the real friends are... your family...

Smoking pot basically has the same affect as a cigarette. However you have to think, family over pot? Your dad really loves you, but he should never had tried to hit you. Instead he should sit down and talk with you.

Above all you made a horrible mistake. He is your Dad after all. You make mistake and to defend yourself you hit your Dad. I think you should be shameful. When you know that no father wants his children to go through any sort of bad habits which culminates to health problems and social stigma how could you anticipate that he will tolerate your bad habit. You should know that bad habits of such type creates severe health problems in future and you could be suffer more than anybody else. So stop smoking and apologise sincerely to your Dad. Stay united and become a healthy, happy family.

It's kind of stupid that you don't have any where to go , but you have internet access to post questions. Plus your dad is doing something that is beneficial to you even thought that you don't realize that right now, but here will be a time for that. sometime we do stupid things for no reason but until we realize what we lost is when we appreciate what we have. Just remember your love for pot could come and go but a fathers cannot.

What should you do? You should go to rehab! If you value pot so much that you don't care if you are accepted back into your home, you need help. I don't blame your father for trying to hit you. I would be severely p-i-s-s-e-d if I caught my son smoking (not that I have one). I don't know that I would hit him, but he'd definitely have hell to pay.

Drugs are not good for you. I'm sure you know this already. You should apologize again to your father, but know that you may get caught again and he will be disappointed in you once more. You should never hit your parents. That is wrong.
