I have been talking t my ex bf's cousin online for a short time. He is married I am now single. We talk about everything. We started talking because my ex asked him to talk with me to see how i felt about things between us. Well now i look forward to talking to him 3-4 times a week and we talk for several hours online. He has been married for 20 yrs but is clearly not happy. We have both told each other things we have not told others we find it very easy to talk. He told me that he really looks forward to talking to me and that he finds me attractive and such and then goes on later to tell me he would never cheat on his wife but says he thinks he will leave her eventually. We talk about sex and everything. I guess my ? is ...what should i think about the things he says to me about finding me attractive then says he will never cheat on his wife..can anyone help me understand what is going on with him? I dont want a relationship with him or anything other than friends what is he thinking

OMG, this is a no brainer. Cut off what you're doing RIGHT AWAY.

Step back and take a look at what you're doing. You don't need our help. I KNOW you know what the right thing to do here is.

you need to stop talking to this guy. He has reached a piont in his marriage where he is curious and maybe a little bored. It must be flattering to you to get a compliment from him as compliments are flattering...however, there is more going on here than a compliment. He has been married for a long time and is cheating by secretly talking with you so much and about intimate things. A married man should not be doing this and you should not be condoning it....NO MORE TALKING

What do you mean, he would never cheat on his wife? He is cheating on her now!
This is wrong on so many levels. First of all, he is married ( = off limits), secondly, he is a relative of someone you used to have a relationship with ( = off limits again), what do you think you're doing??? Find someone else to have deep, meaningful conversations with and cut off all contact with this creep at once!

i think you and this man have talk for a while and you seem to enjoy what going on. other wise you would have stop the
conversation. before now, if he is married and he talking to you
for hours at a time, then you really are not confused, you lke
the attention that he given you. but if you dont want anything in
return then you shoudl have stop it along time ago, dont you
think it really is kind of late to fiqure out what gong on with him
what up with you,

He is trying to make it so that you would want him to cheat on his wife with you or that when and if he does leave his wife, he has you lined up so you would be the next in line for him. At least that's the way I see it.

Same thing kept happening to me. Just ask him why he keeps contacting you then leaving you hanging. It's an honest question..

I'm not in your position, but I think that cousin is looking for more than just a friendship. I don't think you should talk to him, at least not about certain things considering he's married, happily or not.

okay well i have a friend that ive been friends with for a long time and he was mad at me cause i did something to him but then after a llong time i said hi to him on aim cause he lives ina diffrent state and we started talkin and we liked eachother alot and its kinda like your sitchuation but im just saying dont touch him untill he breaks up with his wife first cause it will be worse if she finds out it will be harder on him and he might not be ready so just keep talkin to him and let him say whatever he wants to say about you but dont make a serious move on him untill he unpacks his bags okay and it will be hard but its the best way

just sounds like his fishing to see if he'll take it to the next level or if it's worth leaving his wife for (which is something all married guys say). i wouldn't give it anymore thought if u'r not really interested.

Really, I don't see all that much of a question. I read two lines, I'm done.
Please move on.
