Power tools were unavailable, let's not forget. I'm thinking he had some serious skills. Or the story is just a tale somewhat exaggerated in order to make a point.

A physical impossibility. A vessel that big has many problems that Noah couldn't hope to handle. 1. Wooden keels over 200' bend this is called hogging. This will open seams and rub and grind the planks and frames making them all loose. The end result is you get lots of flooding. In noahs day there wasn't a thing called a pump never mind one that could keep up with the leakage this boat would have. It should also be noted that Noah wasn't alone he had his wife two sons and his two daughter in laws. Ships were built back then that could handle the wieght of the animals but not the twisting of the ocean. Then that is why this story is a myth unless you are a religious kook!

Mr. Magic! You should know! It had to have involved magic as there is no other method which could have sufficed! Do you realize how many species of animals there are (and presumably were in Noah's time since it was not so long ago by biblical calculations)? I have answered a couple of astonishing questions regarding the flood and the ark here on Answers; the one I particularly recall and still laugh when I think of it (and which after many months is still in voting!) asked whether, after the deluge, the polar bears walked back to the North Pole. Not surprisingly, there were some hilarious answers to that query! The point is that the idea that the biblical flood is to be believed literally is surely ridiculous!

Noah not only had the help of God's Holy Spirit, he had the help of his wife, their three sons, and their wives. So eight hands all together, plus God's helping hands. Noah son's had physical strength to cut down trees, and do heavy lifting. God directed them, and told them where to get what, and what should be done to the Ark. Even the measurements. Noah helped with making of the tar for the holes, which he made sure no water could seep in the Ark. He also warned the people of the upcoming Deluge. And also many other task.
The women gathered all the food, and water needed for everyone, including the animals food. They would carry very large containers of water, and big food baskets. These where put in the Ark, one at a time. They also had to feed and care for their hard working husbands. This took several years to finish. Then God is the one who directed all the animals to the Ark area, when he saw they were done. Then Noah and his family helped most of them into the ark. The larger ones just followed. God also closed the big door of the Ark when the Rain was about to start falling down. The Story of Noah is found at Genesis Chapters 6-9 of the Bible. I hope you liked my summary. :>)

Well the bible tells us he was told to build it what size to make it and the kind of wood he used. the description of the boat is enough for shipwrights to draw a very good depiction of what the boat or ship would have looked like. The bible does not tell us how long it took nor does it tell us if he had help from people other then his wife. We do know his family children and there spouses went in it So it seems likely that they would have helped as well.
The bible does not say if angels helped or if God himself got in there and made things go faster. The bible does not state if Noah was granted special knowledge or skills to work on this boat .
i think its reasonable to think that since God told him to do it that
when Noah did all he could to make it if God wanted it done on such and such a date he would make it so.
i can provide you with some proof that a world wide flood happend . Scientist working in Canada discovered a ring a layer of material in the soil that is really easy to see in deep cuts in the earth like the rivers that cut deep into the earth . Anyway investigaion has proven that a world wide flood did occur .
you can look this up on the net if you like it is refered to as ring of sedimentation .

The Bible does not specifically say how long it took Noah to build the ark. When Noah is first mentioned in Genesis 5:32, he was 500 years old. When Noah entered the ark, he was 600 years old. The time it took to build the ark would depend on how much time had passed between Genesis 5:32 and the time that God commanded Noah to build the ark (Genesis 6:14-21). At the absolute most, it took 100 years.

Come on! There's no way that someone could have taken every animal on earth and fit them all on one boat! Elephants, tigers, bears, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippopotamus, crocodiles, ostriches, flamingos, cats, dogs, wolves, snakes, lizards, ants, spiders, rabbits, worms, cheetahs, panthers, hihinas, and so on... How could every animal in the world fit on a confined space?! The amount of biological material from all the animals in the world would cause even the largest ship in the world to sink; furthermore, how would you possibly get all these creatures onto one ship without some kind of advanced technology to temporarily shrink them all to close to microscopic levels in order to fit them all on the ship; furthermore, how would you be able to travel around the entire world before 40 days and 40 nights to collect every single species on the globe!! You would have to have some kind of advanced alien technology that was able to fly around the world and overcome the friction of the ocean currents, winds, and other variables. What has been witnessed in history is how humans can misinterpret things and even re-write the bible to taylor to their particular interests.

because it makes a great story. Not everything in the bible can be taken 100 percent true. The story was fun. It was a time with some fabulous stories of Gods wrath. Years and Years from now people will talk about a forty foot tall man and his blue ox. The Idea of that story was God's way to eliminate the impure offspring from the women that were impregnated from Angels.

Noah had the help of his sons and his friends. God gave him the dimensions and told him how to build the ark. The ark was also a double decker and the stalls for the animals were a certain size. God knew how large the ark needed to be....It wasn't a short amount of time. Noah spents months building the ark.....
