I have seen people add small amounts of 100LL fuel to older cars without catalytic converters and others with old big block racing street cars, but 100LL octane/with lead in it burns so hot your engine will melt parts, pistons, rings, etc.Ya I have heard it will clean out your engine and you may see increase in HP.No advantages over using av gas, only disadvantages that I see. I have plenty on hand that I drain from my acft tanks during inspections and never had anyone ask to have it.

For the average guy and sport bike, the main disadvantage - it is not legal for road use. Doubt if you would ever get caught. The bikes come from the factory tuned for max performance, with the standard available high test gasoline. If you go through a proper tuning drill, I do not doubt you could improve performance. But if you then put normal available high test no lead in, you risk detonation. For each engine design, there is an ignition advance point where that engine will make the most horsepower, coupled with an air/fuel ratio found by dyno test, or a lot of carefully staged top speed runs. You get the most power from the lowest octane fuel the bike will burn WITHOUT DISTRESS at max power. That means no detonation, no over heating, etc. If you go up or down on octane from this point, the engine suffers. Combustion chambers today are carefully designed to get proper squish, turbelane and no dead pockets, where mixture is trapped in a pocket, away from the plug, where the flame front has a hard time getting to it. If a bike is used for racing only, it is not so hard to manage this, but for a street bike, you should always use the same fuel. Also, beware of ignition advance rotors which are said to give better performance by advancing the ignition timing. They do work, at mid range, very often. What they do not tell you is that you will likely get detonation at top end, full load. For around town, they work, on the freeway, or at Bonneville, or drag strip, they kill the engine. The only proper way is to get a good aftermarket ignition system, such as a Dyna, or any of several others.

Yes you can but not without installing a power commander on the bike and several other modifications, that I will not share on here.
The increase in power for the normal rider, it's just not worth it, to the extreem rider, (Yes) it's worth making the modifications.
The words (Hair on fire) should explain it to everyone.
