The whole brain is used... We just don't use all of it for things like coherent thinking. The 10% myth most likely came from the fact that Glials out number neurons 10-1, creating a 10% factor.

I have known several humans named Brian, most of them have been very useful.
I would have to say that of all the Brians I have met, about 80% have been useful.
It's those guys that spell their name Bryan that you have to watch out for, lazy bums!

I don't know if Brian is used, he must let others know he is not a door mat. As for the human brain, it has been said that we use only 10% of our brain, but this hasn't been proven.... see the site below for more... concentrate!

Well...hmmmm....my brother's middle name is Brian....does that count? I find him to be pretty useless most of the time so I'd say apx 33% of my human brian is being used.

it mostly know as 10 % but some other have been know to be able to use slightly more . buttheir know as geniuses.
and pertsentage is mosly used for thinking with out it we wouldn't able to do a thin like you typing this wquetion inthe wrong part of the yahoo answer area. look at the sub catagory you typed in. Does comics and animation seem like the right place to have posted this?
