i'm on a verizon wirless family plan with my parents. do i automatically have free nights and weekends or do i have to request for/pay for them?

You have free night and weekend because it's included in that plan... and anyone on the Verizon network has free nights and weekends.

Everyone has the same time and day for calling on the family plan. So what ever time the free calling starts on your plan is when it would start for the whole family. Except for the minutes which you all share

I'm on Verizon w/ my daughter.....I'm pretty sure you have free nights and weekends, too. One way you can find out is by going to verizon.com and logging in to view your account(or your parents account, LOL) Good luck!
