Andrew G... I have nothing but admiration for his bravery and commitment but it just looks so funny. Well done Petr Cech for getting fit again.

you know its a skull cap, and its a physcological barrier for petr and the strikers.
are you really going to go in full plet against a keeper that you could brain damage.
only a physco would do that.
its a very clever move by jose, petr is obviously back to full fitness.

For me Van Der Saar(Manchester United) and Iker Casillas (actual Madrid) are the two proper on the 2nd(probable the Dutchman is slightly greater advantageous). The comes Cech, who, regrettably, isn't as sturdy as before after his injury and often makes errors that value his team goals. different great goalkeepers are the Croatian Stipe Pletikosa, the yank Tim Howard and the Russian Igor Akinfeev. Akinfeev is unquestionably very youthful and might sooner or later be the international's top goalkeeper.

It may only be a temporary safety measure. Should he receive another fresh knock or hit to the head, he will be in jeopardy. It's more than likely to give more time for the injury to strengthen and lessen or minimize any contact to the head weakening the damage that's only just mended. I wish him all the best for his return. A really brave and courageous player. Best to look a little funny and stay alive and well.

Lady Diana also killed in car crash in Paris........Blimey that's old news and of course hell have too wear head protection after such an injury and shouldn't be mocked for having the bravery to come back and play months before expected.

It's old news, he's been wearing it, for much over a week.
Rugby players wear them, I bet that you would not stand in front of a 19 stone forward and laugh at him?
