It depends on the concrete floor, is the cement smooth or is it rough?

I was at Home Depot the other day and I noticed they scrubbed all the floors down with a floor machine because they all look nice and new, and then what it looks like is they added a layer of wax or urethane to give it a clear coat finish.

Here is what I would do if you got a smooth floor...

#1 Get a broom and sweep up all the loose dirt.

#2 Hose down the floor. There is a company called ZEP thats makes a makes a really good heavy duty concrete floor cleaner that will remove all the oil and dirt. It looks like ground up corn, but when you expose it to water it turns a bright green.

All you got to do is get the floor wet, apply the floor cleaner and work it in the floor with a good heavy bristle push broom.

#3 To rinse the floor, I would highly recommend a power washer, however if you don't have that a regualar hose will work fine.

Check and see your results, it should look good enough at this point where you do not need to do any additional work. However if you want to go 1 step further you can do the following...

#1 Rent a professional floor machine and get several heavy duty scrubbing pads.

#2 Repeat the same thing with the Zep cleaner, but work it into the floor even more with the floor machine

#3 Finish the Job off using a power washer.

Check your results, if you want to take things one step further you can add a coat of wax, or if you really want a nice finish you can put down a coat of clear urethane or clear epoxy paint. Just keep in mind the epoxy or urethane is perminent, so the floor has to be super clean before you can put that down. The wax you don't have to be as clean since eventually it will wear away.

Do a google search for Zep floor cleaner, and you can't go wrong with the commercial grade stuff. If you pull out the phone book, there might even be a rep who is local to your area, talk to him because he can recommend the best product to do the Job.

How To Clean Warehouse Floors

Try a clear silicone sealer, they are all fairly inexpensive and will produce a nice shine. In addition, a silicone sealer will help keep the dust down. The problem with this type sealer however is they do not last very long under extremely heavy industrial traffic. You did not indicate how much wear the floor gets. They provide very little wear protection to the concrete surface. They are primarily made to protect from water damage. In most cases, you will need to apply this type of sealer at least once a year. However, if you upgrade and buy an industrial grade sealer, this may prevent you from having to re-apply as quickly. This of course would have to be a do it yourself project in order to keep the cost down.
Good luck to you!

Someone makes clearcoat for concrete floors but not sure of the price. If it's just a warehouse there should be no slippage probs, it's not like in a factory with lubricants everywhere.

Well the paint suggested before is usually expensive. So I suggest a stainer then a oil-based sealant with a sheen. Very inexpensive. Make sure to clean the floor before you stain with a abrasive concrete cleaner.

I just got an email earlier that said to use WD-40 on your tile floors to make them shiney~~so it would work on concrete too. Sounds like it would make them slick as #$%^ to me, but you might give it a shot in a corner or something.
Good Luck!

I would use some thompsons waterproofing for concrete. It leave a nice gloss and stuff doesn't stain the floor.

you are able to set point via utilising a rod or placed up pushed into the floor and set to the wanted elevation. you are able to then use this a a element on your screed board. i could recommend that once you bypass via the rod or placed up which you pull it out and refinish the concrete in that section. you are able to desire to truly try this as you bypass and to no longer wait until eventually the concrete has began to set.
