I am five foot ten and 130 pounds. I will always get the looks but nothing more. Then I will see a tall guy (six two or more) with an inredibly short women, like five two..what gives???
Are men just turned off by height in a women, are there any men who would rather date a tall women like me?
I feel left out!!!

I think tall men might like tall girls. They should, anyway, because average guys don't usually want to date girls taller than they are! I would probably date a girl somewhat taller than me if she was a good person, but I certainly wouldn't pick one out as my first choice. And I've also noticed that women tend to look down on (disrespect, or shun -- not literally look down on) guys who are not at least a few inches taller than they are. So if you want more than looks, maybe you should try asking guys out. Good luck!

I'm about 5'6", so I prefer a short-er girl, personally. One that is alot taller than me (or more than a few inches) would make kissing awkward and such.
From a psychological standpoint, men feel emasculated when a girl is taller then them, because they're supposed to be "the ones on top", and a taller girl kind of takes that away that feeling (plus the whole "aww, look how cute she is" feeling guys get when they see girls standing at 5" tall)

It's usually the other way around, most tall women don't want to date short men. Look in any of the personals and the girls all seem to want the tall guys. FWIW, I don't mind tall women at all.

Being 6' 6" it's pretty hard to find anybody "tall"
Personally, I prefer tall women any day. Find a tall guy and you've got something in common to talk about right off the bat.

Everytime a girl has ever stolen a guy from me, she was tall. Everytime I see a couple where the girl is tall, the guy either seems extremely proud or is staring at her with puppy eyes. My brother's wife is about 6 feet tall. Obviously there are some men who prefer shorter women - maybe it is because they don't have confidence in themselves. I think that you have just been unlucky, or are hanging out in a crowd where the guys have low self esteem. Keep your chin up.

i'm approximately 5'6", so I desire a short-er female, for my area. one that is alot taller than me (or assorted inches) could make kissing awkward and such. From a psychological viewpoint, adult males experience emasculated whilst a woman is taller then them, because of the fact they are meant to be "those on appropriate", and a taller female variety of takes that away that feeling (plus the entire "aww, seem how amazing she is" feeling adult males get whilst they see females status at 5" tall)

I'm dating a girl about an inch or less shorter than I... i have dated girls taller and its kind of awkward because guys like to feel dominant... its in our nature... if we have to look up to your or on our toes to kiss tall women it puts us into weird feeling

Honey, where do you live? I only date tall women. And tall women are always better in the sack from my experience...don't know why, they just are.

Because shorter women have smaller feet. Most men won't admitt it, but that is the reason. Sorry.
