Please help.....

I bought new brakes for my car and everything else it needed to replace the old ones. I asked my uncle to put them on for me cuz he used to own a shop. Well now every time my car is running at any speeds more than 60 mph when I press the breaks my car's stirring wheal shakes like crazy. It's scaring me.

Do you think it's because of something my uncle did or is it that my car has another serious problem? would you know what it could be?

your problem is your rotors.check to see if they are turnable and if they are you will save money.if not than you need to buy new rotors.go to a place that has free brake inspections.they should be able to mic your rotors and let you know if you can turn your rotors or if you need to buy new rotors.

Nah I doubt its anything ur uncle did, more than likely you need your disc rotors machined, they are prbably warped slightly and buy putting new pads on they are trying to wear to the warped discs. Take the rotors in and get them machined, now if they have been done b4 you might have to buy new rotors. Cheers

Your uncle had tried to save some money for You .

He didn't re-surface the rotor and the drums .

tell Your Uncle what happening he will know what to do.

Sounds like your rotors and/or brake drums need to be turned or replaced. (more likely it is the rotors). Also if he replaced just the pads, that may not have been enough.

the rotors may need to be turned or you need a wheel balanced done, ask your uncle if by any chance he rotated the tires perhaps the tires in the rear of the car are now in front and were never balanced to begin with I would start there to balance the front ones would be about $20.

Check your rotors...they may be warped. They can be turned at any auto parts store.
