Try to get to the next Level on Yahoo! Answers.

Listen to your iPod.

Play Bejeweled on the Endless setting.

Read a good book.

Have you tried Sudoko? Below is a site which you can play online at whatever level. After each move, you can click on "how am I doing?" it will show up on the screen for you where your error is - easy to fix then.

I agree with the person above about trying to move up to your next level in Yahoo Answers or getting into a good book.

Actually do you enjoy crossword puzzles? There usually are some online or you can buy a book at your own personal level of expertise.

Go to yahoo games to learn or practice a card game, scrabble, euchre, pool, cribbage, backgammon, dominoes, to name a few. You will be playing against real people to whom you can actually chat with from around the world while playing as well - double bonus here! You probably are aware of other game sites as well.

How about looking into learning a new software? I am a "computer software specialist" and the more software you know reasonably well, opens up new doors of employment that possibly you might not be so bored at, lol. Some second hand stores quite often have the "older (and very cheap) manuals" for an existing software. All the basic intro information is generally the same all around. Sometimes the menu locations are changed around on the upgraded versions, but you just have to find where they are located now with your manual to describe everything you need to know. Some software have "In classroom" books to follow you through the software and even give you exercises to complete to get the full experience of the software.

Maybe even get to read the newspaper and keep informed of the news. Possibly you might take a peak at the employment section and see what type of credentials/experience one needs for possibly another job position you may actually be of interest to you. Just because you have a position, doesn't mean that you are not allowed to keep looking out for yourself for other alternatives. Go on interviews while you still have a job - always a better scenario than when you are totally unemployed.

Another cool site for quite a few of TV series that are free to watch - see link below. Don your headphones and enjoy!

Hope this gets you inspired to doing something "productive" compared to just being bored, OK?

Good luck and all the best!

Can you play video poker, solitaire, spider solitaire or something like that on the computer at work? How about drawing? What about re-organizing the desk at work? Or, is there anything that needs to be cleaned? Do you have a camera phone? If you do, you can experiment with the different settings to see what they do. Or, go to a website that has a special interest of yours and read stuff. Or go to a joke website. Its hard to really know what to suggest because you don't say what your work environment is.

Have fun...

you are the perfect candidate. I was in the same boat about a year ago. I would get my work done at about 10 am and have nothing to do for 5 or 6 hours. Start an online business. The best way to do this is by affiliate marketing. Here is the greatest guide around
