It depends on what requirements you do not meet and how far from them your hardware/software may be. My computer did not technically meet them, but it still functioned on my computer. If it is your video card you may want to consider purchasing a new one. If its unused memory, you might not want to try it without freeing up some drive space first. but you can always get the demo disk at a gaming store for less than five bucks and try it. If it doesn't work you won't have spent much.

Probably not. Even if your computer meets the minimum specs, and not the "reccomended" spec, the game won't run well.

So, if your not hitting the minimum, your chances are very slim.

It could work, but it would run very poorly if at all.

That's why games have a minimum specification.
