Wells Fargo. I've banked with them since 1972.
(Just after Henry Wells retired :-)
They are everywhere in California, including a lot of Safeway stores. Their online banking is comprehensive, has a lot of features and is easy to use. You can get all kinds of financial products and services - checking & savings accounts, mortgages, credit cards, home equity or line of credit loans, CDs, insurance, mutual funds, etc.
Financially, WFB is one of the strongest and best-managed banks in the US. Warren Buffett is one of the largest shareholders, so he is very comfortable being an investor.

Beware of Bank of America!!!! That bank will rob you every chance they get!!! They did it to me and they did it to my dad, after banking with them 30 years. I hate that bank.
