Warm baths are absolutely ok to take during pregnancy. What docs actually say about the baths, is not that it'll kickstart labor, but that it'll help with the labor process. Bath water that is too hot may cause a mommy to miscarry, so hot tubs are something to never go in. Rule of thumb for bathing when pregnant - if it's steaming and you say "oh!" when you put your feet in the water, it's too hot. Warm baths are fine, up until the end when your water breaks.

At seven weeks, it is perfectly safe to take a warm bath. No, you will not start labor. Although hot tubs are bad. But a warm bath is okay. When you get closer to delivery ask your doc. Although I dont think that taking a bath, even late term, would start labor, perhaps once labor has begun a warm bath can help with the pushing, and speed the process, but I dont think it can start labor.

Warm and hot baths are perfectly safe. The only reason that warm baths start labour is because being tense inhibits labour, they won't start a labour that has been stalled.
High temperatures such as hot tubs and saunas that raise your body temp over 101 degrees can cause birth defects, but mostly only in the first 6 weeks.

NO, NO, NO....it wont hurt your fetus. AS LONG as you don't have your thermostat cranked up and you are so hot that your blood pressure is spiking. That is the only concern (and it's more for "hot tubs" not baths) again, that depends on the your tempurature setting of the water.
For those who say you can't, are misinformed. I have always taken hot baths with my pregnancies, any my doctor said it is fine as long as your membranes have not ruptured!!!! Then it's a no, no. I never heard of it "kickstarting labor" since you shouldn't be bathing in that case anyway.(when i say bathing, i am not referring to "water birth")
Bathe on!!!!

Warm baths are probably okay, it's hot baths that you want to stay away from. Your baby doesn't have enough fat to regulate it's temperature, and if your body overheats, so will your baby's.

There is no harm in taking a warm bath with your husband/bf. You need to remember that it is not all about you and your problems.
