War is a distraction and is used for the purposes (i.e. more money, power, control) of those who pull the strings of the office of president. So no, in this sense he won't really be gone. The next president in office will most likely be just another puppet.
Furthermore, there is no war, there's no justifiable reason for our troops to be involved in Iraq, there is no significant force invading our borders, etc., etc.

I think we were fighting this war before Bush came along. Remember what happened in Afghanistan during the 80's? We deserted them after they defeated the Soviets. They found a new friend- Radical Islam-The Taliban. Now people want to desert the Iraqi's. Looks like history will repeat itself.

I heavily doubt that a civil conflict will erupt in the U.S. numerous the inhabitants is against our infantrymen being over there by way of fatalities/government spending. So, if there exchange right into a civil conflict in the U.S. it would contradict precisely what they are status up/battling for. we'd be battling ourselves. For what purpose?... to handle our very own affairs?(depart Iraq)...properly, it is going to particularly stress us to pay interest on the U.S. even with the undeniable fact that, we'd be in worse circumstances than the "conflict in Iraq." Our infantrymen does not be killed by utilising terrorists, they may be killed by utilising their very own flesh, their very own united states of america; different harmless people being ordered to kill for a reason oblivious to them. And, maximum civil wars are over territory conflicts as properly. How might the U.S. divide over a civil conflict? this may be worse than 9/11. we'd be those to blame for the deaths of thousands/hundreds of thousands of people in OUR united states of america.

Yes. It's the military-industrial complex. Go back and read what President Eisenhower said about it back in the fifties.

Weather or not Bush leaves office remains to be seen. Elections can be suspended in times of war.

Seriously, I don't recall Bush piloting any of the hijacked planes on 9/11.
The phrase "starting wars" should always be followed by the terrorists' tactics of indiscriminately murdering thousands of innocent people all over the globe.
