No- none of the above is ever right, but legal,
well, depending upon the state in which you reside is a factor.

I would first look over the company policy handbook and if all of these workers are willing to be supportive of one another, I would try to seek someone in a higher position to review and access the situation.

You may wanna call your Dept of Labor in your state to see if they could lead you into the right-direction.

You see, it happen to someone I know, and when it was addressed, they fired her and then she went to the Labor Board to file a wrongful termination suit, after an investigation was done by the company with all the employee's in confidentiality that supervisor was remove from the location and she was offer an opportunity to return to her position.

The State Employment Agency may be of some help!

Good Luck, but remember we are stronger in numbers....

I don't know if it's illegal or not but I'm sure you can talk to your human resources person and hopefully they can do something about it. It is very unethical for your supervisor to create a hostile work environment. I know this probably isn't an option but it would be really fun to get all your co-workers together and all go find new jobs and all quit your current job at the same time. Just a thought.

This sounds like the supervisor is creating a hostile work environment. Contact the human resources department and file a complaint.

No! Try the site below, make sure to change the location/state in which you work. Make sure you report the company with findings.

You need to go over him - talk to his boss.
You need to unite if that doesn't get you anywhere - perhaps a sick day for the whole crew will bring it to someones attention just how much of a total jerk this dirt bag is.

I've never heard of a law preventing this. Unethical, yes, illegal, don't think so.
