Look - I have very strong views about todays episode.

1. How is this helpful to a child who has likely been sexually assaulted to have this paraded around in the news - I mean I know Oprah is tasteful, but it is these episodes that make me cringe inside and say - what is she thinking??!!! What are the parents thinking???

2. I think getting your story out there is important if it can help others. But this story - is more the child's story than the parents, so it makes me a little sad that they felt they needed to share it. You could argue the parents should be able to share how they feel - and yes they have that right - which is essentially why they went on air - but at what cost.

I was going to say something sarcastic an I will refrain. I just don't think that some stories that are so raw in the hearts and on the surface of one's soul belong in my living room. I feel guilty watching - this was the same when Nate - did the tsunami story. It was honest, gripping and really sad - and I felt like I shouldn't be involved in that grief - it was private and something that though from a morbid curiosity standpoint left my tv switched on, makes me feel slightly ashamed that I watched it.

And for Oprah - well - she does a lot of good things for people and so I won't slam her for doing her job - she is a reporter and she does have a heart, and at least shares these stories in a tasteful way, but really sometimes stories like these disappoint me a little.

That is all - nice question.
