I'm thinking maybe the person who asks the question should grade all the answers,
and not award any points at all for very brief bad answers that contribute nothing. On the other hand, the best answer should get about 30 points.

Everyone should stop taking things so personally, stop screaming racism if you don't agree with an answer, stop reporting people for petty things. Stop asking really stupid questions (although some are really entertaining)

If I could suggest one thing to improve it, I think that they should actually read the Answers/Questions that get reported by people whose opinions differ from the person who posted it, rather than just automatically deleting it and sending those ludicrous "violation notices".

The people who do revenge/malicious reporting should also be monitored for abusing the "report abuse" button. Maybe there should be a limit to how much reporting one user can do.

I agree with thrill88, and would add the additional point of doing more to eliminate the people who create multiple accounts and answer their own question in a propaganda-type way instead of letting others answer

Yes! I get so mad when I type a fabulous answer and then when I go to submit it, I am prompted for my password. After that, I have to retype my whole answer. I don't mind typing my password in but I wish that it would save what you had typed and take you back to that instead of returning to the question.

Not have Yahoo Answers delete some of your questions for no reason.

I would love it if I could somehow delete the questions in the "my Q&A" section that have been resolved. That way only the ones still looking for answers and those in voting would be showing. Thanks for asking! :)
